Ill start with the good things first. Any of these in isolation would have earned this business five stars. 1. The ease of getting in the car, thanks to the lovely gentlemen who met us at the ferry terminal.2. The car itself: a Rav 4. Impeccably clean inside and out, drive like a charm. 3. The young guy who drove us back to the ferry terminal in it.We DID have a bit of a negative: and to be honest we were prepared to ignore the fact that when we picked the car up it was only 3/4 full of petrol. Even though we knew we had to return it full, I would have just worn the cost rather than make a fuss when otherwise it was such a positive experience. I was JUST annoyed enough, though, to fill it elsewhere before returning the car. With petrol being almost $2 a litre on the island, it felt a bit like taking the p+ss to not only donate a quarter of a tank of petrol, but to actually purchase it at their own business! But I STILL would have let it go unremarked. Until I not only got told off for buying my petrol elsewhere, but having the audacity to not provide a receipt. A quick look at the fuel gauge would have shown that the tank was full. But then it might have helped to look at it before they rented it out to us in the first place.This DID leave a sour taste in our mouths. This business runs like clockwork in all other aspects. No delays anywhere. But I tried to do the right thing, and I left feeling like a naughty schoolgirl.Would still recommend this business. But it doesnt hurt to be informed.
